Located just 15 minutes west of the beach, The Historic Cocoa Village is a little gem nestled between aged buildings that transport a visitor to a simpler time compete with quaint shops and delectable eateries. While strolling through the streets you can watch glass blowing, check some local theatre, and drink in the scenery of the Indian River. Don’t be surprised to see a film crew running around every now and then. The Cocoa Village is so unique that it attracts many local and national filmmakers to film their movies in this beautiful location. The local flavor really comes alive in The Cocoa Village. The out door amphitheatre hosts live music and art shows on a regular basis. In February the whole town turns out for the Mardi Gras celebration. This is certainly one place you will want on your vacation itinerary.
