Cocoa Beach Area Event CalendarOctober 13Confederate Sons Association Living History EncampmentThe Indian River Camp 47 of the Confederate Sons Association lead by Commander Mike Linthicum & past Commander Tom Mills will be onsite at The Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science, 2201 Michigan Avenue, Cocoa, FL with their group presenting a Living History Encampment, dressed in period uniforms, actual and replica weapons used in the War Between the States, authentic tent, fly tent, display with camp gear, guns, uniforms, and other artifacts from the years 1861-1865. They will also bring a small cannon to fire as well as marching and drill demonstrations. Food & beverages will be for sale during the event. Bring your picnic blanket or a lawn chair if you wish.
